Common questions
I can't sign in
Noosh supports Google Sign-In, Apple Sign-In, and email + password. If you originally signed up with Google or Apple, keep using that method — the email + password form is a separate account. If you've forgotten your password, use Forgot password? on the sign-in screen and we'll email you a reset link.
I'm not getting push notifications
Open your device Settings → Notifications → Noosh and make sure Allow Notifications is on. If notifications were previously denied, you may need to fully reinstall the app to be re-prompted. The host of a dinner can also re-send a reminder from the dinner detail screen.
I want to change my university
Your university is locked after first set so that friend groups stay coherent. If you transferred or chose the wrong one by mistake, email support@nooshapp.com and we'll update it for you.
I want to delete my account
In the app: Profile → Settings → Delete Account. Deletion requires re-authentication and is permanent. Active future dinners you're hosting are cancelled and your guests are notified by email. See our Privacy Policy for details on what happens to your data.
I want to export my data
In the app: Profile → Settings → Export My Data. We'll email a download link valid for 7 days. Limited to one export per 24 hours.
I want to report a user or a piece of content
Tap the … menu on a profile, dinner, or memory and choose Report. We review every report. You can also block a user from the same menu, which immediately hides their content and prevents future contact.
The app is crashing
First, force-quit and reopen Noosh. If it keeps happening, email us with your device model, OS version, and what you were doing right before the crash — this helps us reproduce and fix it quickly.
