Child Safety Standards

Noosh is committed to protecting children and keeping our community safe. We have zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) and for child sexual abuse material (CSAM). This page sets out our standards and the steps we take to prevent, detect, and respond to this content and conduct on our platform, in line with Google Play's Child Safety Standards policy.

1. Minimum age

Noosh is intended for people aged 13 and over. We do not knowingly allow children under 13 to create an account or use the app. If we learn that an account belongs to a child under 13, we remove it and delete the associated data.

2. Prohibited conduct and content

The following are strictly prohibited on Noosh and result in immediate removal and account termination:

• Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) or any content that sexualises a minor.
• Grooming, solicitation, or any attempt to sexually exploit, endanger, or engage a minor.
• Sharing, requesting, or facilitating access to CSAM or links to such material.
• Any other conduct that endangers the safety or wellbeing of a child.

3. How we prevent and respond

• In-app reporting. Any user can report a dinner, profile, photo, comment, or person directly in the app. Reports are reviewed and actioned.
• Blocking. Users can block another person at any time, which prevents further contact.
• Host controls. Hosts can remove a guest from a dinner.
• Review and removal. We review reports of child-safety concerns as a priority, remove violating content, and terminate the accounts responsible.

4. Reporting to authorities

Where we identify apparent CSAM or credible child-safety threats, we report to the appropriate authorities and cooperate with law enforcement. In the United Kingdom this includes the National Crime Agency's CEOP Safety Centre and the Internet Watch Foundation (IWF). We comply with all applicable child-safety laws in the regions where Noosh is available.

5. How to report a concern

If you encounter content or behaviour that endangers a child:

• Use the Report option in the app, or
• Email us at safety@nooshapp.com.

If a child is in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services first.
